Marchwood – McMullen Barracks

Project – Ensuite Refurbishment 

Duration – Commenced March 2022, 3 phases at 6 weeks per phase

Approx. value – £290,000

Project Details

From March 2022 for a period of approx. 18 weeks, we conducted ensuite refurbishment works at Marchwood – McMullen Barracks at a cost of approx. £290,000.

 

We conducted the following refurbishment works to existing ensuite shower facilities in SLA housing blocks:-

  • Works to include isolation strip out and removal of all existing fixtures, fittings, services, and finishes.
  • Replacement of all substrates to flooring and walls.
  • Installation of new White Rock Wall surface.
  • Installation of new shower trays inclusive of reinforced plinths.
  • Installation of new shower screens.
  • Installation of new shower riser rail and mixer bar.
  • Renewal of all services and pipework.
  • Installation of new vanity unit with set in WHB and WC inclusive of concealed cistern.
  • Installation of new towel RAD.
  • Installation of new room width mirror.
  • Installation of new vinyl flooring with cap and cove detail to meet new White Rock.

Bulford Manor

Project – Commercial Heating Upgrade and Replacement

Duration – Commenced July 2022 for a period of 12 weeks

Approx. value – £355,000

Project Details

From July 2022 for a period of approx. 12 weeks, we conducted commercial heating upgrade and replacement works at Bulford Manor at a cost of approx. £355,000.

 

We conducted the following works as part of the project:-

  • Safe removal and storage of high-value property.
  • Protection of existing surfaces.
  • Design works alongside PMA design partners.
  • Careful removal of floor coverings.
  • Removal of floor boarding to access pipework.
  • Removal of all pipework to heating system.
  • Removal of all radiators to property.
  • Replacement of all pipework with stainless steel crimped install.
  • Replacement of all radiators as per design specification.
  • Lagging to all pipework.
  • Upgrade to plant room to create sealed system as opposed to the old-fashioned gravity fed system.
  • Reinstatement of all surfaces.
  • Reinstatement of flooring.
  • Refurbishment to bathrooms as per archetype specification.

Tidworth- Matthews Estate

Project – Helifix to Void Properties

Duration – Commenced June 2022 for a period of 16 weeks

Approx. value – £624,000

Project Details

From June 2022 for a period of approx. 16 weeks, we installed helifix to void properties at Tidworth – Matthews Estate at a cost of approx. £624,000.

 

We conducted the following works as part of the project:-

  • Structural repair works to various properties.
  • Installation of Helifix lateral restraint system to all elevations of each property.
  • Installation of Helifix Bowtie Brickwork ties to all properties.
  • Installation of conventional roof strapping.

Project – Reinstatement and Internal Refurbishment to Void Properties  

Duration – Commenced August 2022 for a period of 12 weeks

Approx. value – £390,000

Project Details

From August 2022 for a period of approx. 12 weeks, we reinstated and refurbished void properties at Tidworth – Matthews Estate at a cost of approx. £390,000.

 

We conducted the following works as part of the project:-

  • Reinstatement of all houses following intrusive structural engineers survey (by others).
  • Replacement of floor boarding throughout.
  • Replacement of carpet gripper.
  • Reinstate carpets.
  • Fill all openings formed in walls.
  • Redecoration where openings formed.
  • Deep clean throughout.

From November 2022 for a period of approx. 6 weeks, we conducted SFA to SLA conversions refurbishment works at Windsor – Broom Farm Estate at a cost of approx. £74,250.

 

We conducted the following refurbishment works:-

  • Conversion of existing live properties from Single Family Accommodation to Single Living Accommodation.
  • Installation of new smoke detection throughout.
  • Replacement to kitchen door to FD30 fire door.
  • Installation of timer switch to cooker with a limit of 6-minute operation.
  • Installation of fire extinguisher.
  • Installation of fire blanket.

Project – VIVO Office Refurbishment

Duration – Commenced November 2022 for a period of 12 weeks

Project Details

From November 2022 for a period of approx. 12 weeks, we conducted refurbishment works to the VIVO office at Kingston – The Keep at a cost of approx. £55,000.

 

We conducted the following refurbishment works:-

  • Full refurbishment to all office areas at the Vivo Office to Kingston’s The Keep.
  • Replacement of floor finishes throughout with vinyl and carpet.
  • Decoration throughout.
  • Making good to damp affected areas.
  • Refurbishment of 2x bathrooms.
  • Refurbishment of kitchens.
  • Installation of blinds throughout.

From December 2022 for a period of approx. 16 weeks, we conducted the GRP removal and replacement of roof detail to three storey properties at Tidworth – Matthews Estate at a cost of approx. £968,000.

 

We conducted the following works as part of the project:-

  • Installation of fixed free standing scaffolding including loading bays and brick guards.
  • Removal of existing unsafe GRP detail.
  • Saw cut and removal of existing brickwork.
  • Installation of gable ladder.
  • Extension of roofing felt.
  • Installation of conventional roof strapping.
  • Installation of new roofing tiles.
  • Installation of capping detail.
  • Installation of dry verge detail.
  • Structural repair works to various properties.
  • Installation of Helifix lateral restraint system to all elevations of each property to floors 1 and 2.
  • Installation of Helifix Bowtie Brickwork ties to all properties to floors 1 and 2.
  • Installation of conventional roof strapping to loft space.

Since January 2023, we have been completing archetype housing works at various site across Kent, London and Brize Norton at a cost of approx. £360,000.

  • Full refurbishment to standard MOD specification to the existing housing estate.
  • Kitchen and bathroom refurbishment works.
  • Inclusive of upgrade to all existing services.
  • Replacement of all floor coverings.
  • Replacement and upgrade to all wall surfaces.
  • Replacement of existing units, fixtures and fittings.
  • Replacement of all sanitaryware.
  • Asbestos removals.
  • Replacement of CCU and all affected wiring.
  • Upgrade to boilers where required.
  • Replacement to gas supply.

Project – Cooker Timer Switches

Duration – Commenced February 2022 for a period of 2 weeks

Approx. value – £23,400

Project Details

From February 2022 for a period of approx. 2 weeks, we completed cooker timer switches works at various Hounslow locations at a cost of approx. £23,400. The works consisted of installing timer switches to cookers with a limit of 6-minute operation.

We conducted the following works as part of the project:-

  • Replacement of all windows to property with new PVC installation.
  • Replacement of all doors to property with PVC installation.
  • FENSA registration and sign off to all installed works.
  • Repairs to roof detail.
  • Repairs to brickwork.
  • Scaffolding installation for safe access.

Project – Shower Refurbishment to Radox Specification

Duration – Commenced January 2023 for a period of approx. 16 weeks

Approx. value – £352,000

Project Details

Since January 2023 for a period of 16 weeks, we have completed shower refurbishment works to Radox specification at Hereford – Credenhill at a cost of approx. £352,000.

 

We have conducted the following works as part of the project:-

  • Full strip out of existing shower rooms.
  • Design works to develop new Radox specification.
  • Full M&E upgrade and replacement of all existing services.
  • Installation of wall tiling with suitable wall preparation.
  • Removal of floor screeds.
  • Reprofiling of floors with chemical floor screed.
  • Installation of Quartz Resin Flooring system.
  • Installation of new Horne robust shower units.
  • New suspended ceiling grid.
  • New commercial grade robust cubicles.
  • Installation of new suitably balanced stand-alone ventilation system installed to performance specification.
