The project was a sensitive one and the work was carried out at weekends. We altered and adapted an existing office; converting the area into an NHS-compliant dentist in-establishment facility.

There was a tight deadline with this project and we were awarded it with five weeks to go until the year-end. It was successfully completed on time.

In December 2019, we adapted wing offices into healthcare areas at HMP Birmingham for AMEY PLC at a cost of £98,000.
Details:
We were contracted to alter and adapt a number of existing wing offices to convert them into healthcare and medicine dispensing areas. As the work was undertaken on a live wing, we also carried out weekend work to speed up the project.

Details:
The work was undertaken in a live environment and included out of hours and weekend work. It involved installing security hoardings to facilitate the work.

Between March 2019 and May 2019, we undertook the refurbishment of a mess cafe at HMP Send for the MoJ at a cost of £124,000.
Details:
The area had been used previously as an officers’ social club and it was isolated, cleaned, and stripped before being refurbished.

Between August 2019 and September 2019, we undertook the reinstatement of Wing B at HMP Winchester for HMP at a cost of £150,000.
Details:
We were asked to go on-site to assess the general damage to the wing following a disturbance.

Between November 2019 and January 2020, we reinstated NOMS-approved secure and compliant security ceilings at HMP Wormwood Scrubs for GFSL at a cost of £68,000.
Details:
During a routine survey it was discovered that the ceilings were non-compliant and provided a security breach problem. We installed NOMS-approved secure and compliant ceilings out of hours to keep the area in operation.
Between October 2020 and January 2021, we undertook seg reinstatements work at HMP Wandsworth for GFSL at a cost of £70,000.
