From January 2023 to April 2023, we conducted the procurement and placement works of a canteen unit with a kitchenette for independent cooking at HMP Thorncross at a cost of approx. £122,000.

 

We conducted the following works: –

  • Procured the unit
  • Provided all relevant services to the unit.
  • Fitted the unit with necessary equipment.

Project – Procurement and placement of portacabin

Duration – Commenced March 2023, final handover in June 2023

Approx. value – £179,000

Project Details

From March 2023 to June 2023, we conducted the procurement and placement works of a portacabin unit at HMP Low Newton at a cost of approx. £179,000.

 

We conducted the following works: –

  • Procured the unit
  • Provided water and wastewater connections.
  • Fitted the unit with bedding, furniture, and desks.

Project – Dental installation

Duration – Commenced December 2019, final handover February 2020

Approx. value – £106,000

Project Details

From December 2019 to February 2020, we conducted dental installation works at HMP Birmingham at a cost of approx. £106,000.

 

We conducted the following refurbishment works: –

  • Installed new hygienic cabinets and worktops.
  • Installed new hygienic floors, walls, and ceiling.

HMP Birmingham

Project -Refurbishment of Wing offices into healthcare areas 

Duration – Commenced in December 2019

Approx. value -£98,000.

Project Details

From December 2019, we conducted and adapted wing offices into healthcare areas at HMP Birmingham for AMEY PLC at a cost of £98,000.

 

We were contracted to alter and adapt several existing wing offices to convert them into healthcare and medicine dispensing areas. As the work was undertaken on a live wing, we also conducted weekend work to speed up the project.

 

We conducted the following refurbishment works: –

  • Designed, fabricated, and installed bespoke secure medical serving hatches.
  • Installed new hygienic cabinets and worktops.
  • Installed new hygienic floors, walls, and ceiling.
  • Upgraded the lighting system to comply with medical regulations.

HMP Belmarsh

Project – Vinyl flooring replacement

Duration – Commenced January 2021, final handover May 2021

Approx. value – £152,000

Project Details

From January 2021 to May 2021, we conducted vinyl flooring replacement works at HMP Belmarsh at a cost of approx. £152,000.

 

We conducted the following refurbishment works: –

  • Stripped away all the vinyl flooring.
  • Removed furniture.
  • Laid new vinyl flooring throughout.
  • Conducted a deep clean throughout.

Project – Car park installation works

Duration – Commenced November 2020, final handover February 2021

Approx. value – £446,000

Project Details

From November 2020 to February 2021, we conducted the car park installation works outside the wire at HMP The Mount at a cost of approx. £446,000.

 

We conducted the following works as part of the project: –

  • Clearing area of existing tarmac.
  • Laying new tarmac
  • Installed external lighting.
  • Installation of bike shed.
